Do As I Say Not As I Do

 I remember my 9th grade history Mr. King told us the ridiculousness we’re experiencing in America right now. Of course, us 14/15 year olds back in ‘95 weren’t listening to most of what he had to say. I can’t speak for my classmates from that time period but I can say for myself Mr. King was correct. Fast forward to the 4th quarter of 2020; we’re in the midst of an election fraud debate, the unemployed still getting screwed out of their unemployment benefits, and coronavirus (SARS-2) lockdowns are popping up more randomly like local drug dealers. We’re seeing the demagogues of this modern era openly strip our constitutional rights and Preamble privileges right before our eyes.

 I shake my head seeing the masses cheer for people who’ve  got intentions to screw us more than “the people of leisure” do on the track (pimp talk ya heard). People of political status are telling us to wear your mask, stand 6 feet apart, and place restrictions for YOUR Thanksgiving festivities. They’ve allowed no good dirty rotten scoundrels loot and plunder local businesses, assault people for having different view points, and destroy American landmarks. Let’s not forget how they’ve exploited black folks (via BLM); thereby using black folks as “tests” for future “scientific experiments” and votes.

There’s an old adage I heard back in the ‘80s saying, “Do as I say, not as I do.” It kind of reminds me of Matthew 23:1-7 when “the rulers” of Jerusalem got their asses RKO’d by Christ. He saw how they were making people do things they weren’t doing themselves. Don’t commit adultery but they got hoes in different area codes. Pay yo tithes and offerings to the Lawd while I use that money to buy Lexusesss and not Ford Taurusesss (laugh a little). You can’t travel or see your loved ones without coronavirus testing but I can fly anywhere in the world (without adhering to COVID guidelines) because they have elevated societal status. 

We gotta shut down your ability to work but will allow you to burn cities down during “peaceful protests.” I betcha by golly wow they’ve kept many of you unemployed but they’ve been adding commas to their bank accounts during this “plandemic.” They can discredit you for telling the truth but got a liquor license to tell our great society lies. Hell, when that SARS-2 vaccination comes out; they’ve gonna make it law we gotta take it. The question is, will they take it? 

Doesn’t this bullshit sound like these two verses:

Matthew 23:3-4

“All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not lift them with one of their fingers.”

Yepper.....

Just look at what our society has become and what it’s becoming. Many of us in society love to tell others what/what not to do, say, or think but do otherwise. To corner phrase Bobby Womack, “Ain’t that some bullshit?”

In the words of Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal (Guru of Gangstarr), “...the bullshit won’t stop long as the world’s revolving.” He wasn’t lying because this shit going on in the world today is incredibly foul. These people of political and celebrity status can do what the fuck they want while we sit back and boost their ego (via YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). I guess that old saying “do as the Romans do” doesn’t apply for everything and everyone in this life. 

I hope with all I’m saying in this blog enlightens some minds because we need to see THIS IS A PROBLEM. Do we want our kids and future generations to follow suit? Do we want to continue having our civil rights taken away due to some funky ass theatrics? Do we want people of status continuously rule over us and the way we want to think and live? I hope not.
